Kravica Waterfalls:

Located about 2 hours away from Dubrovnik and 1 hour from Mostar, the Kravica Waterfalls are a pearl of the Herzegovinian landscape. It consists of a series of cascades; during the summer period you can swim in the water amphitheatre underneath the waterfalls. Due to the great changes in the water level and vegetation, the Kravica waterfalls offer different and unique experiences in every season. The Kravica Waterfalls are a popular swimming area and is frequently visited by tourists.

Blagaj Tekke Monastery:

Located just 30 minutes south of Mostar, the Blagaj Tekke Monastery was a place of permanent residence of some dervishes, which is a unique example in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Compared to a monastic lifestyle within Christian monasteries, the dervishes in the Tekijas didn't live there, but merely gathered there at certain times for worship. In essence it is a pilgrimage site bringing together the old tradition of gathering next to river sources, mountain ranges, specific natural environments and important historical events in these areas.

The monastery itself almost sits on top of the River Buna: it is a spring that flows out of a 200m cliff wall and creates a beautiful, crystal clear river. This place is an important part of a rich cultural and historical heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina and also attracts a great number of tourists. The source of the Buna river is the finest example of an underground karst river. It’s one of the largest and most beautiful springs in Europe.
